Live auction companies must charge high commission rates to maintain physical auction locations in different regions and pay the large number of employees required to run such an organization. This is not nearly enough data to convince a buyer to purchase your equipment. Online classifieds are not much of an improvement. The pictures are small and usually limited to five or fewer. They sites themselves are antiquated in design and the listings don't contain much more information (if any) than the print versions.
