TuffWerx Authorized Agent

Responsible for development and growth of company client base, with special attention to prospects identified as “target” because of the volume and nature of the work. This would include the presentation and acceptance of the core value proposition to targeted customer. The Agent will gather client requirement and negotiate an agreement between the prospect and TuffWerx.

Essential Functions

  • Customarily and regularly engage in selling or obtaining work
  • Aggressively pursue new business opportunities by proactively identifying client needs and additional opportunities
  • Actively develop client base through prospecting
  • Deliver web demonstrations of TuffWerx capabilities as well as on-site prospect presentations
  • Maintain sales records and contact management in Insight.ly® accurately, effectively, and in a timely manner
  • Negotiate client contracts
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and developments and maintains industry association memberships as necessary or appropriate
  • Assist and support TuffWerx in supporting new clients as they begin engaging with the platform

Qualifications (demonstrated ability in the following)

  • Solid understanding, knowledge, and skills in sales techniques and practices; proven ability to sell to decision makers at various levels
  • Able to qualify, identify, and clarify client needs through effective questioning and listening
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and telephone skills, and able to get appointments/meetings and keep clients engaged
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Well-developed presentation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, using professional tone and language
  • Able to work independently as this position will not be housed at a TuffWerx facility
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in working with a CRM and email client
